Which CAD programs can open DXF sewing patterns?

DXF files are intended for use in professional CAD pattern-making software. Before purchasing, check whether your software supports DXF file import. After opening the file, we recommend checking the measurement units and scale.

Which pattern versions are included in the DXF package?

The package includes two pattern versions: with seam allowances and without seam allowances.
In the first version, seam allowances have already been added to the pattern contours. The seam lines are not shown separately, so the pattern set remains clear and does not interfere with grading work. After checking the sizes and pattern pieces, these patterns can be used to prepare the garment for cutting and production.

The version without seam allowances is intended for pattern modification, construction changes, and the development of new designs. After making the required changes, the user can add the necessary seam allowances according to the selected garment construction method.

The package also includes one pattern in PDF format. In the PDF pattern, seam allowances are included and the seam lines are shown. The PDF can be used to check the placement of pattern pieces, labels, and markings if some information is lost or displayed incorrectly during file conversion or when the DXF file is opened in CAD software.

Which sizes are included in the DXF package?

The included sizes are specified on each product page. DXF patterns are supplied as size sets and can be used for professional pattern work, pattern modification, custom sewing, and small-scale garment production.
