Garment Analysis

Before pattern development begins, we define:

The purpose and key features of the garment,
The silhouette, volume and intended fit,
Construction and decorative details,
The properties of the selected fabric,
The base size, size range and height groups,
Production requirements.

Initial Pattern Development

A complete pattern set is created in the base size according to the approved design.

Pattern development considers:

  • garment proportions and balance,
  • the required amount of ease,
  • the intended fit,
  • fabric properties and behaviour,
  • the construction of individual garment components,
  • sewing and production requirements.

Patterns are developed in a professional CAD system with accurate notches, grainlines and matching seam lines.

Sample Making

Using the developed patterns, we cut and sew a sample garment.

  • Conformity with the original design

  • Silhouette, proportions and volume

  • Garment balance and fit

  • Garment and component lengths

  • Position of seams, darts, pockets and other elements

  • Fabric behaviour in the finished garment

Fitting and Pattern Corrections

Precision fitting and expert pattern adjustments for perfect garment construction

Fitting and Pattern Corrections

Once the sample is completed, a fitting is carried out. We evaluate the garment's fit, identify the necessary changes and correct the patterns. Where required, we adjust:

  • Garment balance and volume
  • The length and width of specific areas
  • The position of construction lines
  • The armhole shape and sleeve fit
  • The placement of collars, pockets, closures and other details
  • Compatibility between the design and selected fabric

If further evaluation is required, an additional sample can be produced after the corrections.

Sample Approval

Pattern grading begins only after the final fitting and approval of the sample.

This ensures that the approved construction, proportions and fit are preserved throughout the complete size range.
